You're asking if we use the OS on a TV? Of course we doYou people actually USE any of that shyt? I've owned an OLED since 2016 and might have used it 3 times. I wish I could bypass it.

I guess...mine just displays my Xbox, Shield and that's about it. All that other shyt it offers is pointless. You're asking if we use the OS on a TV? Of course we do

How is it pointless if you have a shield? Why do you have a shield?I guess...mine just displays my Xbox, Shield and that's about it. All that other shyt it offers is pointless.
Why do you use shield? What for?Same, I use my Shield and PS4. I wish you could just find a regular TV sometimes. It's a shame what happened to WebOS though.
The Shield is for Kodi , and running music and video off my NAS. I have no use for the WebOS apps or streaming. How is it pointless if you have a shield? Why do you have a shield?
You don't need that with Android TVs, because you can just download Kodi onto the TV.The Shield is for Kodi , and running music and video off my NAS. I have no use for the WebOS apps or streaming.
OLEDs don't come with Android TV, not that I would care, because I specifically wanted a Shield. It does a lot.You don't need that with Android TVs, because you can just download Kodi onto the TV.
That's not true at all, alot of oleds have android https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-an...Flt80iSyprM7rHhliYAaAsOcEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.dsOLEDs don't come with Android TV, not that I would care, because I specifically wanted a Shield. It does a lot.

Only LGs and Sonys for me anyway. That's not true at all, alot of oleds have android https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and-home-entertainment/televisions/televisions/philips-55oled805-55-smart-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-oled-tv-with-google-assistant-10206034-pdt.html?istCompanyId=bec25c7e-cbcd-460d-81d5-a25372d2e3d7&istFeedId=4d7eb93e-055f-499d-8ee5-1cdcc50d67d1&istItemId=ilrqqixwp&istBid=tztx&srcid=198&cmpid=ppc~gg~0045 (Shopping Ads) Large Screen Television - Brand Philips 2021~0045 (PLA) LARGE SCREEN TELEVISION BRAND PHILIPS ad group~Exact&mctag=gg_goog_7904&kwid=GOOGLE&device=m&ds_kids=92700060718917071&tgtid=0045 (Shopping Ads) Large Screen Television - Brand Philips 2021&gclid=Cj0KCQjwrsGCBhD1ARIsALILBYp6UqkGjDOFQVg7vacTfsmzAJYyvp-Jk9hqFlt80iSyprM7rHhliYAaAsOcEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
What can your shield do that an android TV can't ?
If you’re using apps built into a smart TV that’s an L. I got Nvidia Shields and Roku Ultras for both TVs I use. I don’t mess with the LG apps.If LG started using androidtv instead of the limited webos then it would e the GOAT TV.
All the apps you have on your phone you can have on your tv
the L is needing all these extra devices to do what the smart TV should be able to handle on it's own. the apps it has work great. it just has a limited selectionIf you’re using apps built into a smart TV that’s an L. I don't need to have an Nvidia Shield. I choose to have one because the experience is better than any native smart TV hardware. It has a better processor in it and Nvidia remains platform neutral so when whatever streaming service comes out it will be available on there. I guarantee you whatever your smart TV is it's not matching the processing power and ability of an Nvidia Shield.the L is needing all these extra devices to do what the smart TV should be able to handle on it's own. the apps it has work great. it just has a limited selection
