Get myfitnesspal and start tracking what you eat. I would focus on that first before you really start getting into a workout routine. It's easy to overeat when you're just starting to workout for the first time and don't have a strong grasp on what/how much you're really supposed to be eating to get to where you want to be. You will EASILY be able to reach your goal in a year if you're serious.

So pretty much this morning I dumped my sweets and juices.

Tomorrow morning when I get off work imma hit up Wal-Mart and grab a few jugs of water.

Downloaded myfitnesspal put in my information

1870 calories in order to lose two pounds a week not including working out.

I wouldn't go 1870,MFP is good for tracking cals but not setting a baseline for caloric needs and a deficit goal.

I'm cutting at 2100 cals and losing 1.5-2.0 per week consistently at 5'9.

At your weight you don't need to go deep on the deficit. If you stay on track weight should fly off. Try 2300-2500 cals and see how the first month treats you. You have to stick in that range, if your are going to heavily guesstimate results will be inconsistent.

Cool imma go in that range,

Went to the gym today, did 40 min. On the elliptical. I'm sore like a mugg. but it feels good. :whew:

If work is slow tonight imma get a workout plan and a log together so I can start getting it in lifting starting Monday.
