My worry now is how we deal with elite TEs...I don't think Mills nor McCleod are physical enough at S to deal with good to elite TEs

I dont like giving 2 draft picks in this years draft and such a lofty contract- is Slay THAT much better than Trufont? because you could have just signed Desmond and kept your picks

I would rather have Harris tbh. Especially if we were going to get someone older and willing to spend money anyway. At least Harris was cheap as far as cap hit and was a FA. But as I type this, I got Game Pass playing week one against the slurs. McLaurin bomb for a td makes me not hate this move.

This upcoming season already feels 8-8ish

At least it wasnt the second and the guaranteed money ain't that bad with the cap hit if u spread it on the back end.

I was hoping it would only take a fourth since he had an off year last year and he needed to be extended for a deal to take place. But I hope it was the comp pick third and not the 85th overall third rounder.

But at least Slay is better than Arthur Read at corner I'm still .... u was wrong for doing Darby like that

I dont know a ton about Trufont,...I know he missed 7 games last season - I loose my mind bc this all comes back to Howie inability to draft a good cb or if its scheme- get Schwartz outta here

A few thoughts:

1) We need Mcleod to play at the 2017 level
2) Need to see further improvement from Barnett & Sweat
3) We know what we will get from Jackson, Cox & Hargrave in the middle
4) I'm concerned about the LB corp having to face Saquon & Zeke 2x each
5) Mills could be useful at S on 3rd down but I don't see him being a force against the run
