I really want Laviska Shenault. Hoping he runs a 4.5 instead of 4.4 so he falls in the draft. That way we get a receiver who can do it at all levels of the field.
We got ten picks but let’s be real, after the 3rd round it’s hit or miss

The entire draft is hit or miss. I am no GM or draft expert but you can get value after the 3rd round. If there is a player with exceptional testing numbers but maybe lesser production, you do your homework.
If there is an FCS player with adequate test with production...do your homework. Offensive line, you can find centers and guards late in the draft....Howie gotta do better

It makes no sense that he prefers zone with the way his corners get beat down the sideline so often, in the manner that they get beat. It must just be a case of QBs identifying with absolutely surety that its man coverage, then just bombing away at our helpless corners. Especially easy since we play so much damn single high safety.
Just for those few instances a game though, I still want a top notch man to man corner. Those splash plays have lost us too many games.
Just for myself and other who don't know his game or name.
EDIT: those 9 minutes sold me. 6'2 220 with that speed, agility and bullish kind of running. Yes please. For those who have studied him more or watched him live... please tell me he is at least a decent route runner who at least looks like he belongs, even if he isn't polished quite yet.

31 or 32 years old. Still has some juice and doesn't seem to want to break the bank at his next destination. I'm on board.
I'm hoping there are some work out warriors that push some of these receivers down. I feel like we are guaranteed to get an impact player at 21 in this draft. Right now I am coveting Ruggs speed but don't care/know much else about him as a receiver to be really clamoring for him. But this Laviska kid... maaaaan, he looks like a must have.
