I just watched Man of Steel again and I don't understand the criticisms

You're using pop culture to explain bad writing? I've the majority of those films and sat through Smallivlle for 10 years; Pa kent was afraid of the government taking Clark every week But there's a difference between teaching caution and telling a superpowered adolescence, asking for guidance from his only father figure, that he should let people/children die. This shyt makes even less sense seeing as through Ma Kent said Pa Kent knew Clark would end up being a hero.

I completely the purpose of that scene as well as the scene where Pa Kent suicides for a dog. I doesnt change the fact that it's bad writing and some of the most unrealistic aspects of film in which people can shoot fire outta their eyes.

You are completely mistaken like most of the crowd who gave errant reviews and are stuck on this portion of the film.
That has been covered in numerous larger blockbuster films such as et a staple film for just starters.
So, how is it the number of people who saw and understood et got the premise of why et was in danger and this small community of who review a superman movie don't get it.
What the problem is, dc/wb has damaged properties consistently beyond repair and this movie is just another example of them getting a product accurately correct for the change of the times and sentiment for the character of superman.
Yet, the end result of damaging the property beyond repair is never spoke on enough and is not cited.

Superman is damaged as a draw and commodity and this movie was one of the first submission.
That actually and accurrstely portrayed superman the best of any film adaptation.
To the point it may go down in history as the only accurate visual portrayal of what superman is, or should be.
Thus is the only superman they ever made other than the Fleischer animated that showed what superman is for that Gen.

Any errant review of this film is always plague by film critics who really don't know this property well enough to review it and people harping upon the pa Kent character direction and overprocessing it outside of the film with exaggerated verbiage on the character's scope or direction is misleading and false.
