I basted it in terriyaki and honey roasting it...:dahell: it's sweet, a little salty but it's so tender inside... I was hoping for a medium well...:manny:

shyt saved my life. I don’t grill steak often (more of a chicken guy) but the times I do, I try to get it to medium. The thermometer helped me a ton.

It also helped me cook a rare steak for my white manager when she came over. Got promoted after that(I’m lying)

when u get to real steak options (porterhouse, ribeye, filet, ny strip, etc) you’ll appreciate the difference even more

Generally speaking, steaks come from the middle of the cow. Around or under the spine/rib cage. Tender parts that don’t move all day and toughen up like a shoulder would.
