Do the electric slide with them
How old are they? I'm sure you can find something that you can relate to them with. You don't need to talk "white" topics with them just to show off. Ask how long they been with the company, get advice on your career, build useful networking candidates. Worse thing is you don't get promoted but maybe you get some useful info out of it.
That's not much of a difference. I was thinking middle age. Trust me, they into the same stuff you are. Start with something basic like sports and see where the conversation goes. If their kids get brought up, just ask about them and how old they are. Don't need to get too personal with the family life anyways. Maybe they're into rap and video games also. You never know. Just remain calm and be respectful to everyone. Don't embarrass yourself.Eh, mid 30's mostly. Mostly married with kids etc. The issue I'm seeing is they're a decade older than me, and I have no wife/kids so I'll be pretty much shut out of the family type conversations
1. Use proper grammar
2. Enunciate (none of that leanhead trap rapper/ drill mumbling )
Nah for real keep it basic with general stuff most people can relate to. Family life growing up, college experiences (pg rated version), hobbies, latest movies, Olympics in Rio etc.
