Word....she doesnt really say anything in her music but when did that really matter? We just saw the down sydrome sounding Cheif Keef have a good year in 2012.

1) Thats why I brought up Kendrick. Just last year know one outside of the internet knew who he was either. But once he got that push from Interscope (AB's same label) Kendrick would soon become a mainstream name in Hip Hop.

2) 50's formula was beefing with rappers as wel and we all see how that turned out for him

3) I dont cosign rumors.......But if I did then u just posted child porn

i still think outside of the internet nobody cares about kendrick lamar. his buzz is still 70% online.

This is why I cant take most of todays "hiphop" seriously, especially the new acts. So the OP actually had time to make a thread and post all those garbage youtube videos? Just previewed a few of them songs and they all sound the same. All trash.

I honestly can't tell if this a joke thread or not. If it is, you definitely got me. lol.

Its not about wether or not u think she's wack(you're a fool if u claim hip hop and dont acknowledge that flow tho), all I'm doing is making an observation. I think we are about to be bombarded by this chick, all I'm saying is get ready for it. This chick makes "valley girl music" and we all seen what that did for Black Eye Peas...."valley girl" music + Interscope push = an era in the making.

um.....But Kendricks album just went platinum....which puts a bunch of holes in your theory.

you are delusional..

i have lost track of how many times "poetic justice" and "don't kill my vibe" are bumped...

i even heard someone blasting "sing for me" in southside jamaica by sutphin the other day....

i have seen more than one people with a "don't kill my vibe" tshirt with a crown on it...

do i have to get started on swimming pools and the public? :leostare:

as said before.....he is platnium

@smokeurobinson you may be right....i think the remaining years in this decade will see an "era" of azaleia AND tinashe

In all the time of me hearing about her, I feel she has yet to build a fanbase, nicki had real barbs and fans on deck with beam me up Scotty, then she killed feature after feature before dropping....Ab hasn't done this IMO. also, as a female rapper nowadays, you HAVE to have female fans, I really think she's turned women off with the constant hate, any time you see a blog covering her, she's beefing. Missy was the last female rapper to appeal to both sexes, and that cuz her music was just dope, very gender neutral

And a Rick Ross ERA? nicki ERA? I think you're way overstating their influence, theyre popular artists at the same time, in addition to others, but neither have/had their own era, especially not nicki. When I think era, I think no limit/master p, death row, cash money (the original), bad boy, ruff ryders/DMX, jay z/roc a fella/state prop....none of the artists you named have accomplished that
