I think you're being fooled by the whole "internship" title. People telling you you'll be making minimum wage, wearing character costumes and what not.

Do you breh. DId you at least google what you could find out about the experience before accepting? They call it an internship but it seems more like a seasonal employment thing. Or they call it an internship to mask the fact that the pay is horrible and the job has a 100% turnover rate.

You could get the same experience working a summer at Great Adventure.

Take a semester off for 7 bucks an hour, brehs...

i get 12 credits towards my major and I'm being paid more than the average Disney worker.

I know what I'm doing, I know what I was told and the conditions I accepted before I applied....
:yeshrug: my life, I do what I want. I feel that it's beneficial to me, then so be it. If you see it the way you do then it is what it is... you're entitled to your opinion and therefore it's your right to think as you do and speak on it, but as long as you know I could care less about what you're trying to push on me.

Well, it's something to put on your resume. Good for you.
Establish a good relationship with your supervisor. After the internship, try to keep in touch with whoever your supervisor is. Why? You can ask them, in the future, if you can use them as a reference on your resume. Even if this supervisor isn't friend/best bud material, at least fake it. Or if they are, then cool. You build up your network with relationships. This is something that I did not do.

My school emailed me a couple weeks ago about this Disney College Program. After some online questionnaires, 30-min phone interview, I was offered a position and accepted it. The program is a paid internship and I get live in FL during my time with Disney. The program is for 6-7 months, so I'm going to be away for my Spring semester. fukk it :manny:

I'm leaving in January:wow:

:patrice:So anyone familiar with Orlando?

Congrats breh.....I haven't read through the thread but you will enjoy your time in Orlando. I spent time in school in the Winter Park, FL area so if you need any info around that area get at me.
