My school emailed me a couple weeks ago about this Disney College Program. After some online questionnaires, 30-min phone interview, I was offered a position and accepted it.

Ask yourself this, would you want to work for a company who's only internship interview process consisted of the bolded?

Why wouldn't I want to work for Disney and see how the company operate from the inside?

Since I live in NJ, how would I be able to do traditional interview in FL for an internship? It's a paid internship, I'm not being hired for a long-term position there, even if I was I would reject it. I have other plans for my future.

Any other questions I should be asking myself breh?

The program is a paid internship and I get live in FL during my time with Disney. The program is for 6-7 months, so I'm going to be away for my Spring semester. fukk it :manny:

:patrice:So anyone familiar with Orlando?
Are you a writer? Did you know the Disney property in Orlando operates under its own jurisdiction.

I think you're being fooled by the whole "internship" title. People telling you you'll be making minimum wage, wearing character costumes and what not.

Do you breh. DId you at least google what you could find out about the experience before accepting? They call it an internship but it seems more like a seasonal employment thing. Or they call it an internship to mask the fact that the pay is horrible and the job has a 100% turnover rate.

You could get the same experience working a summer at Great Adventure.

Take a semester off for 7 bucks an hour, brehs...

As far as I know, it's an internship so you aren't getting paid. Are you getting free housing and a stipend?
If that's the case, you will hardly have any money to go out on the town.
