My school emailed me a couple weeks ago about this Disney College Program. After some online questionnaires, 30-min phone interview, I was offered a position and accepted it. The program is a paid internship and I get live in FL during my time with Disney. The program is for 6-7 months, so I'm going to be away for my Spring semester. fukk it
I'm leaving in January
So anyone familiar with Orlando?

hate to reign on your parade but Disney employees are underpaid...6.50 to be exact...although i think they may have raised the minimum wage a dollar more, can't imagine what a paid internship is gonna earn you... but all i know is you most likely gonna be overworked and underpaid, and also gonna be sharing rooms with someone actually more than 1...maybe 3 or 4, depending on your expenses probably 6 ...it'll suck but you'll only have 6-7 months out there so try to deal with it
Orlando sucks breh, the nearest beach is 1 hour 17 minutes away, the biggest attraction your gonna have is Downtown disney, Universal City walk, and International drive...Downtown Orlando is gonna be exactly 30-40 minutes from Disney, (btw Disney is not even in Orlando, its in Lake Buena Vista)...and the city is pretty wack, i'd rather stick to clubbing around the 3 areas i listed...but theres Amway arena at least catch yourself an Orlando Magic game,
depending on your expenses it might have to be against Sacramento Kings
tickets for high profiled teams are gonna cost you your whole paycheck..
Oh and you better be friends with someone who has a car and pray they're not reckless, cause if you don't have a vehicle in Orlando your fukked

What the others said about it is true you're gonna be worked for little money you might hate your roommates but if you get some cool roommates then it wont be so bad.
They have like three or four apartment complexes that disney operates the best one is vistaway most of the international hoes stay there and they get down. Domestic hoes too them broads be on that lonely depressed shyt you just gotta make them feel like you care and you should smash.
Security is tight at these complexes its annoying to bring people in because you have go down to the guard shack at the front to sign them in and idk if they still do or not but I remember that after 2 am no was allowed out until 6 am that included visitors. Btw I know all this cuz me and my nikka would sneak into that bytch.
The party bus will be your friend I think its $10 and entry to the club is included they take you to downtown Orlando, its different clubs on different nights. Shop at wal mart avoid the walgreens if they put you in vistaway.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but disneys going to rape you with no vaseline, they know you need them more than they need you. That what character you gonna be dressed up post ain't too far from the truth. Disney gives zero fukks about your major nikka, you gonna fly down there and they gonna hand you a goofy costume with theface and throw you out in the 100 degree florida sun 9 hours. your living arrangements is gonna be 3-4 other nikkas in an apartment with one bathroom.Oh and don't lose your disney ID cause the billion dollar company is going to charge you $50 to get a new one.
but hey look at the upside, all the international girls you'll be around and you'll get into the house of blues free on sundays
This sounds like a regular internship to me.
I haven't seen a company that hasn't ran their interns through the ringer. The way I see it unless its google you're in for a tough time. Yes they will throw your degree out the window and have you doing things that are a complete waste of your talent and time. You'll be going to get lunch and sometimes even paying for it, thats how it goes.
Education costs time and money, experience costs time and a little of your dignity along the way.
