I would be out of Chicago but my wife doesn't want to move. Gunplay and it's ice cold half the year, why are you coming back?
Wouldn't be until end of July. I'd rather the cold than it be 100 degrees for months on end. U can't enjoy the summer months out here even.I would be out of Chicago but my wife doesn't want to move. Gunplay and it's ice cold half the year, why are you coming back?
The job I currently has won't let me work remote not do they have hospitals in Illinois. I would have to change jobs regardless to go back.
Might as well do it now while I got a bird in the hand.

it's an OK city, but far from a world class one.
I would stay my azz in Texas. Fuk this city. Welcome back though...
hey what kind of work do you do again? Aren't you in Health IT? Were your kids going to private or public schools in both Dallas and Chicago?
The heat ain't no punk heremy ex co worker tells me that all the time. he's from Dallas and moved to Philly. He said he hates the Texas heat.
my wife tried to get mad initially saying I wasn't giving texas a fair shot, but when I came down here, I said I'd try it for a year. I did that and in the end, I didn't particularly like it.
I mean I have damn near no people to do shyt with here. and the folks that work with me have really little kids, so even they can't really hang like that.
just this past weekend in chicago, I saw my parents and in laws. I saw my sister brother in law and my neice/nephew. plus I got to kick it with three different friends each of whom I've known for like 20+ years now. shyt, I did more in those 4 days than 4 months here
also, I went from a 3500 sq ft house with finished basement, a big yard, deck bbq grills, and garage to a 1400 sq ft apartment
Everybody say fukk they city lol.
Coming from Atlanta I love Chicago. And since I’m from Atlanta ain’t no other city in the south worth moving too so I chose another region
