For 15K, I’d get a 2018 Hyundai Elantra with a
-CLEAN TITLE
-Less than 80K miles
-pre purchase inspection
-Single owner
-Anti theft software update

It’s a great looking car and it performs well.

I think the original powertrain warranty transfers too.

I sell cars, the only things you have to pay at a dealer is
-price
-taxes
-tag/title/dmv fees
-finance charges

Anything else, dealer fees, destination cost, warranty, reconditioning or etc are dealer add ons.

Just ask for an out the door price and that is your bottom line.


Also stay away from rebuilt/branded/flood/salvage etc vehicles

Get a 2008-2011 mustang gt

Cheap, reliable, and fast for the money. The 4.6 in the earlier years ain't nowhere near the 5.0 coyote, but it's still a great engine in its own right. They can be built but it's expensive. Will say, they can sound really good and make for a good introduction to muscle/sports cars

C4 or c5 corvette is a good option too. Usually are kept in pretty good condition. Only thing is it's low af to the ground

Hell, a 2017 and up fusion sport is a good sleeper. Underrated bur worth a look if it's one in your area. Something a bit easier to live with but still pretty quick. Transmissions are pretty weak though, so be careful
