I've been on the Network since launch day.

It's boring as hell rt now. I could cancel and not miss any entertainment in my life other than the live ppvs.

I don't really watxh World Class and ECW run was unwatchable garbage for the most part.

You mentioning 205 Live is laughable when wwe themselves doesnt even give a damn about it.

You gonna tell me about Main Event, too?

BREH!

I couldn't even finish 95 ECW, it was so unbearable. Like the nostalgia goggles were real with that promotion because holy shyt: It was good back in the days, but yeah:francis:

I tried New Japan

shyt was too boring. I'm not really the "workrate" type.. I like the story driven shyt.. obviously I prefer the wrestling to be top notch, and it absolutely is in NJPW, but the story has to intrigue me. I can't just download batches of matches and watch them. I need a reason to care..

that's what made ROH 2006-2007 so great..

the in ring stuff was amazing, and the stories were intriguing enough to keep me interested. that CZW feud was so good.. Homicide and Colt Cabana trying to kill eachother.. Bryan and Nigel Mcguiness putting on classics everywhere...Bryan vs Morishima...

The Japan invasions with the Dragon Gate guys (CIMA!!) and NOAH dudes...

man, I miss that era of indy wrestling so much... today is complete garbage in comparison. New Japan is cool, but it can't compete with that imo..

I wonder when, if ever, WWE's very successful strategy of making the biggest profit possible on outlets that don't suffer much from a shytty TV product will stop working :jbhmm:

I was referring to the WWEECW, but I hear you though.

They literally added like 300 hours of content in the past 2 months and they produce 2 weekly exclusives and are now doing a 32 women tournament exclusive to the Network, multiple new docs...yet you're saying they haven't put up anything in ages and don't put up new shows. :skip:

Do you want more top 10 countdown shows or something? There's a big difference in "they haven't put anything up in ages" and "I don't like what they put up". Use your words.

ur right, just b/c they're adding bland content for the sake of adding it makes everythingi I say null. Thanks

You couldn't be more wrong. For the first time in a while things feel hot. Summer slam was a big success and was the breakout for Braun to become the next big thing.

We have a ppv coming up with 2 major matches -- Seth and Dean are on fire right now.

Not everything, but your demonstrably false assertion that WWE Network is a "desert" and they've stopped putting up new or vault footage makes you sound like an idiot. Especially when you get told all the stuff that got put up and now you're complaining about it being adding for the sake of adding.

Since June:

127 episodes of WCCW, 193 episodes of WWE ECW, 20 Old School events, 13 episodes of 205 Live, 13 episodes of NXT plus Takeover Brooklyn, Summerslam and pre-show, Battleground, Extreme Rules, MITB, GBOF, MYC Bracketology, 4 episodes of MYC, docs on the Hardys and Kurt Angle, 5 episodes of Table for 3, 2 episodes of Bring It To The Table, 4 episodes of Superstar Ink, 2 episodes of Ride Along, a Ric Flair special, multiple collections of Hidden Gems/Bruno/multiple others, current Raw/SDs as well.

What a desert of content :mjlol:

Keep complaining about how the Network is dead and they don't put up new or old content, tho :umad:

I gotta agree with this sentiment. I went to the Raw in TO before SS and besides the opening with Brock, it was unbearable. Even live. It was so LONG and nothing felt important / entertaining :francis:

As much as some people may not like it the minute TNA fell off for good was the moment the Indy's dropped significantly.

TNA was the only company that had any slight chance of potentially ever being a legit competitor to the wwe & the only alternative that legit gave Indy wrestlers any real mainstream limelight.

With it's downfall not only does it close that possibility down, it also allows the wwe to have full reign over the talent pool since TNA isn't even a viable alternate anymore as well.

This. People forget just how good of a position TNA was in for an indie. Perfect roster with notable names on the roster, had NJPW deal with wrestlers, the ability to offer television and before they shot themselves in the foot, the perfect brand to go to outside of WWE. I don't know what channel it would work on, but if some promotion could recreate that, I truly think they could thrive as a WWE competitor and second option in wrestling. Not to mention, we kinda need that number two promotion because some of these guys need another option outside of WWE. Look at Juice Robinson, dude betted on himself into a nice little role in NJPW. Imagine if we had a NJPW here.

Unrelated but when's the next ppv? I see Wikipedia has one listed for the 24th for raw. Does smackdown have a ppv this month or not?
