@Cake : life has no intrinsic meaning. Some people interpret this in a way that makes them feel useless. The real beauty of this fact is that you get to assign your own meaning.

Some people are born pretty close to where they want to be but none of it is fate. It's all made up of people making moves. If your parents aren't that close to where you wanna be then you gonna have to make said moves yourself.

Decide where it is you want to be. Then GO! Go, go, GO!

Sitting around wishing for friends and a girl will never get you there.

Once you get busy you will not have time for the blues. And you will find your happy place sooner than you would by posting here.

I'm sorry but this is terrible advice.

Do not misguide yourself or others into something evil. Us humans were not created for a directionless life.

It got better for me when I stopped caring what people think, started doing me, and stopped seeking the approval of everyone and anyone besides myself.

Everything is temporary. This is just a roadblock to the success you have laid out for you. Once you pass this hurdle the possibilities are endless

Breh keep it up I was/am in a similar position...something "simple" you can do is try to get your body right, it really helps the mental (not a cliche) and you will start feeling better about yourself. You can't rely on others for your happiness, I personnaly have very few friends, and I see them like once every three months. Read, go to the movies, don't stay at home even if it's only to go out for a walk. Try some new stuff just to keep your mind busy and maybe meet some new people. Don't listen to all those saying "just suck it up, some people have it worse than you". Everyone has their own issues to handle, some are just more socially "acceptable" than others.

Great advice. Moving just in order to move won't really work, because wherever you go you'll still be yourself and have the same history. If you move it indeed has to be for a purpose. But a change in scenery can indeed do wonders, it's as close to a fresh start as you can get.

How did you come to that conclusion... The most beautiful resource you can have in life are other like minded people who genuinely care about your welfare, whether it be family members, friends, or a wonderful woman.... spending time and enjoying the company of such people is a joy within itself......

I have never heard anyone say that you don't need anyone in life......... and technically, you don't.. but if you want a fulfilling life that 's worth living, then spending time with close friends/fam definitely plays a significant role....
