I don't understand. Why do people like cats so much?

OP the kind of nikka that wants your opinion but doesn't want your opinion. You give him your prospective and your world view on a particular area but he will try to be a contrarian just to keep his fragile ego in line. You got 5+ people on here telling you why they fukk with cats and this mofo is like "b-but what about this...or that....well my dogs are this..." as if putting yourself in another person's shoe is so unfathomable.

Amusing his name is "knowledge" but he is so close minded to expand his mind. It ain't even about being right but at least seeing eye to eye with other people. :mjlol:
Lmao I know but I figure he’s talking about cats. It’s harmless

Explain that one for me breh, cause I get the impression that they're thankless freeloaders from this line
That cat was climbing around trying to figure out the surroundings. Y'all forget these are wild creatures. Cats were never domesticated like dogs they chose to live amongst us.

Cats don't bond with people same way dogs do. What you call selfish is indepence. Just cuz you threw breh out in the cold doesn't mean he will starve. They can still hunt and kill with ease and go in the house after and be a pet to someone they like.

A lot of people have this idea that they own animals and cats often defy that cac made idea of possession over another life. A cat could have multiple families and homes it lives in visits. They have tracked house cats that move around outdoors and found them to be incredibly social. Most pet owners want unconditional love and obedience. Get a dog for that. A cat will not fill that insecurity.

They are not thankless and as anyone with a cat knows they will also kill and present you with dead critters as a gift in an attempt to contribute their share. That's an instinctive trait that displays where their mental awareness is compared to most pets. They see themselves as equal to not subservient.

The most pertinent question you asked is why anyone OWNS one... As stated you simply DON'T. They choose you like you choose them. They're not broken in spirit like most domesticated creatures. You have to truly love their nature or avoid them.

Personally I see why they were reveered in ancient Egypt. If you respect nature you get it. The idea of ownership over life doesn't apply here.

I don't trust people that are obsessed with kittens and puppies. Only talk about how cute animals are.

I know people like this who constantly adopt pets they never raise.

cats are the best, especially my lil fur ball

the great thing about cats is their random need for attention/affection but at the same time being extremely independent.

this picture my cat randomly just layed on my foot and flopped on his back signaling he wants belly rubs. as soon as i rubber his belly and gave him some attention he dipped out to the basement to chill.

o cat like belly rubs? Girl I'm with got one that gets to clawing and biting
