I don't think we've seen 5% of what Julius Randle is capable of

"I can tell you have no rebuttal"

:russ:
There's no "rebuttal" for trash posting, because it speaks for itself.

You don't use shyt like "PER, +/-, better defensive rating, better offensive rating, better net rating, and is winning" when comparing the ability of players, without the proper context, especially not over a two-game sample size. Randle is a role player who comes off the bench for one of hottest teams at the moment, whereas LaVine is #1 option on a team with a lack of talent. shyt like plus/minus, DRTG/ORTG, NRTG are NOT individual metrics, they're metrics based on the lineups you play in - all you're basically saying by referencing those stats is that the Pelicans are a better team than the Bulls.

Randle plays with the likes of AD, Mirotic, Jrue etc
LaVine plays with the likes of Payne, Portis, Lopez etc

shyt, swap out Randle for LaVine, and the Pelicans would be arguably the second-best team in the West. A Jrue-LaVine-Mirotic-AD combo lineup would be unstoppable: FOUR players who can drop 30+ points (any given game) from all over the floor.

Randle has a better "PER, +/-, better defensive rating, better offensive rating, better net rating, and is winning" than LeBron - does that mean he's better than LeBron too?

:usure:

You can't seriously believe Randle is capable of a game like that? This board is reaching WOAT levels with their basketball takes. Lord have mercy.

Actually, this would've been more applicable to your dumbass post -
Randle has the better PER, better +/-, better defensive rating, better offensive rating, better net rating, and is winning

this can't possibly be the hill you want to die on?
My nikka is the word context in your vocabulary or what because everything you said is missing it :dwillhuh:

Their career statlines show the same thing :ohhh:

I'm sure you would enjoy another western team trying to outshoot 3 of the best shooters in NBA history but I and everyone else that regularly watches Pelicans games is more than satisfied with what we have now, add a 3 that can play defense so Moore can add firepower off the bench and we'll be set :ehh:

I'm sure keeping Randle was harder than it appeared from the outside but the Lakers had a pretty good small ball 5 in Randle but they let him walk and are now trying to get Kuz and Ingram to unsuccessfully play that role. Mcgee+Randle and the Lakers are a problem. Rondo is a great PG but he is unnecessary with Lonzo and LeBron.

LaVine is a legit main scoring option who's on track to be in the 'best SGs in the league' conversation; Julius is a role player who comes off the bench. How could you possibly think the latter is better? Being a Pelicans fan doesn't require you to post nonsensical shyt about your team's players.

LaVine would give the Pelicans a far greater chance of beating the Warriors - only a fool would argue otherwise (which you have proven to be many a time).

Don't think because of the Lakers/Rockets fukkery you can slink out the back door.

:lolbron:

What backdoor; Randle has contributed wonderfully on both ends of the floor to a 2-0 undefeated start while Jaflabby Porker can't even shoot 40% from the field with a green light on one of the leagues worst teams and is giving up gamewinners to midgets 8 inches shorter than him on the other end. Like I said, hypothesize about Julius Peppers stats and offensive skillset if he were to start playing in the NBA at his current age (and weight :umad:) if you want someone to compare your future Jiangsu Dragons starting PF against; because people who actually watch the games wouldn't bother comparing him to real NBA players like Julius anymore with how hopeless he's become. But you obviously don't do that so continue @ing me with highlights of Jabari when Obama was president if you're depression compels you so, I'll just be watching Randle beasting in games actually happening in 2018 :lolbron:

That would be close to being the worst frontcourt in the league.
Not for the Lakers style of play. But really it's the synergistic effect. With those two, Ingram and Kuz and sometimes LeBron would not have to play the 5.

@Inertia Creeps out here embarrassing himself; in denial about the nonsense that he posted -

"You're on worse bath salts than Swagnificent if you think LaVine is better than Randle"

:picard:

Instead, he'd rather post like a schizophrenic about nonsense that doesn't have anything to do with the thread.

You can't play TWO big men who can't shoot in today's league (nevermind the fact they're both volatile defenders), especially on the same team with LeBron. Randle had the highest turnover rate out of all 4s last season, handled the ball just as much as Anthony Davis (who averaged 28 ppg last season), and yet was still one of the worst big men in self-creation points and only averaged 2.6 assists per game - I don't think you realize how mind-bogglingly bad that is.

Give any starting big man the same amount of opportunities with the ball in hand and they'd be able to put up better offensive production.
