There's a stark difference between the talent on the Warriors/Rockets (GS could afford to carry a player like ZaZa because of the abilities of the other four players on the court), and the Lakers having to deal with a Randle/McGee frontcourt. It would be a total disaster; there's a reason why the didn't bring him back.
He'd be basically unplayable beyond 10-15 minutes a game on this current Lakers squad: Lonzo, Rondo, LeBron, McGee, Ingram, Stephenson etc either are temperamental shooters, or they can't shoot at all. Adding Randle to that would only shrink the floor even more - the Lakers shot 23% from behind the arc in the first game, and shot 25% from behind the arc in the second game, quite clearly they have issues with spacing/shooting.
Bruh you on worse bath salts than Swag if you seriously think anybody on that list outside of Jokic and Embiid is clearly better than Randle. You should know that Swag regurgitates hot takes at such an exponential rate that a few of the players he sets his goofy gaze on will inevitably end up being actually good through sheer statistical probability alone
Saying you'd take a guy like Lavine obviously over Randle is like salty fools saying they'd obviously take Melo at this point of his career over "top 30" Draymond; it's just nonsense to try and win some stupid argument. In his first game as a starter this season (with AD injured): handicapped the offense because he was left open on every possession (Jazz refused to guard him on the perimeter), shot multiple air-balls, had FOUR offensive fouls because of his rockbrain activity, provided absolutely little-to-no defensive help - he let Utah walk into the paint on the regular, didn't run back in transition, and had Gentry shaking his head in disbelief at all his dumbass plays, to the point he was pulled from the game and didn't return.
And since that anomaly first game against arguably the worst defense in the league (Melo/Rockets), he's only averaged 14 ppg, 0.7 assists, and 2 turnovers per game.
You have some cotdamn nerve after you tagged me after the FIRST game of the season. At the very least I waited until a handful of games. And once again, this is what you're failing to realize, this game and his latest performances are WHO he is as a player. I kept trying to tell you he has a limited offensive skillset (where he can't create for himself on the regular), I kept trying to tell you he's a volatile defender, but you wouldn't listen, and now you're paying the price by looking like a damn fool.
