TBH, I only watched the movie once and for the longest, I've been thinking about what was the message to the whole movie if Caine finally told us his regrets. I didn't get that that WAS the whole point of movie.





Summed it up perfectly to me, but yeah I do need to watch the movie again. I was more confused than trying to say it's a bad movie

The whole piece is/was the opposite of Boyz where showing how kids like a Doughboy or Chris (Caine) become gangstas... And how the dirt you do will always get you in the end and even touch the people you love the most

He just glossed over the fact Cain was already in the game.

It was too late for him by the time the movie started.

Go easy on OP. He wasn't that far off. Not realizing that Caine was already 2' deep in the game, because it showed him going to school, Ronnie telling him to finish HS etc. It was easy to gloss over, especially since they clearly showed an attitude change after he merked the buls that killed Cousin Harold. That omission changes the narrative of the story...it'd be like Tre ridin with Dough Boy, but earlier in the movie..and sayin fukk college.
