Im not trying to or whatever, but when I watched it for the first time, I couldn't stand it. I was just too disappointed with Kaydee/Caine.

Before O-Dog robbed the store and his cousin got knocked for his car, Kaydee was an average dude focusing in school.

That was basically my whole point in the OP. Menace II Society was a different film . I usually sympathetic to the main characters but caine was making bad choices and slowly became a different person.

U know a nikka could be a gangbanger and never kill someone right? Lol. Dude was a hustler. He was in the streets but he never killed anyone until that night. With that being said. None of what u even said in the OP would equate to Menace being a bad movie. U basically just said u don't like the main character. There's plenty of great movies/shows where the main character isn't particularly likeable. shyt. Insecure is one of the best shows on TV to me and I can't stand Issa's character.

Well if Kay BEEN a thug even before the robbery, then I can understand the characters point of view better. I didn't take in that been his lifestyle before
