As my grandma used to say, "you don't believe fat meat is greasy." Folks believe this shyt is a fairy tale or some simple shyt when it's really not. Having a child is painful, expensive, time consuming, and life altering. Of all the bad decisions a person can make, why make THAT one with some random person? And while I get single parenthood is common now, I don't understand how shame plays so little of a role. For the mom, if your shyt isn't together you're going to need a lot of help from family and/or the father. Yet so many women seem totally fine with the idea of a man not being there. How the fukk? And likewise for men....how are you ok with being a deadbeat? Lot of fathers abandon their child before birth, or within weeks/months of birth. How do you pull that off? Especially after your family learns that your girl is pregnant. Imagine the shame of your mom realizing you're a piece of shyt lol. Couldn't be me.
