True that is a fair point.
But today's average person would rather listen to 90s rap than 60s British rock n roll. As the time goes on, people will truly start to realize the rubbish that was the beatles. Rock N Roll is mainly but not limited to a white demographic while rap/hip hop is popular everywhere.

When we talk about who's the bigger icon it's very easy to look at the numbers instead of just pulling shyt out of your ass. I listen to pac more than Elvis and the Beatles -therefore is in my personal top 5, they're not. However they sold 600 mill albums worldwide, pac sold 75 (even if you consider the bootlegs he is not even close). I think it's safe to say their music reached more people. More young people listen to pac now though. I don't think numbers necessarily decides who's the bigger icon, but they all have cultural impact, so that's an easy way measure it
