He got what he asked for

I was reading the mayor comments

The mayor noted that while offering condolences to parents of the victims, he had several say they didn't even know their kids were at Atlantic Station, let alone knew of a curfew in place there…

A 12 year old out at night in the streets?

Bu bu but it’s the government, it’s the police, etc,… these mothers and fathers are pure trash period..

Looking at pics , there is no parenting at all in many of these young kid deaths

These kids are just bad and unfortunately have no guidance. I stay near a middle school and you should hear how these kids talk. Boys telling girls “suck my dikk” girls telling boys “suck my dikk” and everything else in between. All they do is scream and argue at each other but somehow are friends. It’s hella weird to me. RIP to the yute he didn’t deserve to lose his life.
Breh I just had to have this talk with my daughter. She's 8 and I had to tell her that she can't hang around some of her friends at school anymore cause they talking reckless at that age already. One of her friends told my daughter she was flat chested as an insult. Luckily my daughter didn't take it anyway but what 8 yrs olds are talking like that already?

Yeah.... I don't think anything was lost with young brehs untimely passing. We gotta stop wrapping our arms around certain archetypes in the community. That's how we all get grouped together. What from these posts show that him or the people he around were ever going to do something positive or constructive for the community. I have no sympathy for crying grandma's or family talking about he was a good kid. You see these posts. They failed him. They should be shamed and shunned for producing a child like that.

Where was his father?

Would the father get any real power even if involved? Women get majority of the custody so the father doesn’t get to make the rules

Also he has a grandmother and mother so two parents which is the case in most of these “single households”

The man is also likely dead due to homicide some 51% of black men have to children a lot of these kids are half siblings

Fathers have lots of power when they live in the home and do the daily work of raising their children. It's not that hard. My husband does it every day and so do all his friends with kids.

Black fathers matter and are desperately needed.
