I noticed that. Probably have a novice filling in for regular reporter.Choosing to use the quote about the phone is also the mark of a novice. The older woman agreed to speak to them while grieving, and that's the quote they use.

Nah that’s just WSB it self. I check the site every morning for local news, & 95% of the articles have spelling, capitalization & punctuation errors. They don’t proofread shyt before they publish it. Been happening for a while really. Seems like they have some college kid writing the articles who is weak in language arts

They used to it the same way at 5 points. Catch trains and buses. I think they caught a train to arts center and either caught the shuttle or walked across the bridge to get there, and tried to do the same thing on the way back.
Unsupervised kids will mob the public transportation as long as they have the money to get a pass. Bankhead ave/Hwy used to turn into a frozen egg hellscape on Halloween because of this. I wish security would have been able to make one group stay until the other group left. Maybe it would have helped to prevent them from getting into it again.
The day before yesterday a 17 year old was killed during a home invasion. Another teenager and an 11 year old were shot at his candle light vigil, the next night. They are getting guns from everywhere smh. Atlanta is starting to look as it did in 94’. Just shooting for the sake of it.
It’s in all online news. They rush stories out with minimal editing to try and be first. Then they go back and edit the articles when the complaints come in.
In the 90’s it was just neighborhood/project/drug gangs fighting over territory and get back. I wish they had learned from the other cities instead of emulating them smh.
It’s an outdoor mall with resturants, bars, and a movie Theater. Kids just go to walk around and meet up with other kids or meet girls their age. The adults just go to the bars or sit in the plaza after the sun is down.
