I have never voted for Obama; honestly have never liked dude at all.
That being said, I'd campaign for Obama before I would even contemplate voting for Allen West. Military service aside, West is a lunatic with political and personal beliefs that are frightening.
Plus he is a gaffe machine who would never be able to last under the scrutiny of a presidential run before imploding.

Hillary seems to be on that push, herself. She doesn't realize that enough people out there don't like her that they could spite her because they wouldn't mind a woman president -- just not her. She needs to represent more than just a historic moment. Obama never presented himself as the first X anything. Hillary last time and Hillary this time is holding onto it like it was a swiftly deflating life preserver.

So, I believe some won't vote just to have a historic election.

On a side note, am I the only one to notice on television that Hollywood isn't interested in it, six years into Obama? At the beginning they switched up with white females either in the Hillary or Palin mold. But afterwards? more white men. I don't know if that was a calculated way of 'reassuring' certain segments of the population for maximum money making, or what.

You call Obama a clown, but try to talk about West being a serious candidate. Dude. Allen West is a joke candidate in the same way Al Sharpton was the Democrat's joke candidate. They are there for appearances only. If they play their role, they get money, access and tv time.

If they don't, they get Jackson 88'd (or JC Watted), and they'd discover who their 'real' supporters were.

Generall Powell and Condoleeza Rice are more realistic candidates than West, just by resume. And neither one of them would go there, because they know what time it really is.

we already have hitler jrs and so many of them are on the right wing that we either vote dem, or in the case of thad cochran, we vote for the least hitlerish republican. that's american politics 101, breh

and it doesnt matter if it is a statement on hillary or not i am talking about her chances to win. republicans know this, so they attempt to get fewer black people to vote every single time.

when i talk demographics, i am talking about the entire electorate, not just blacks. the portion of youth voters, non-white voters, urban voters, college educated voters, poor voters, single women, single mothers, etc means a harder road for a hard line right wing candidate.

as for hispanics, obama got close to 70% of them, and with the way whites are behaving in murrieta, that number is not going to slip

Eventually, they are going to be white, just like the Irish and Italians of the 'Catholic' vote. This is what Democrats are going to learn.
