I'll need a new hobby. Maybe I'll just get high? It's been a while since I smoked.
@No_bammer_weed

Now's the time to try meth:blessed:

Whats the worst that can happen?

I;m on my third week without drinking.

Got in trouble and put on probation again, just said fukk it, I cant risk drinking and doing anymore stupid shyt.

Haven't gone out yet, but it feels good, feel more clear minded.

Congratulations man. I didn't have any traumatic experiences. But what I did do is ask myself some serious questions. At 22 years old I had been drinking for 7 years.

The longest break I had gone in those 7 years was fourteen days. Now imagine that? 7 years and the longest I had gone without it was fourteen days. :smh: We all have different classifications in what's an addiction or not. I wasn't walking the streets in shakes or nothing but I did find it hard to connect with people outside of "meeting for drinks".. I also started to reevaluate what constituted as fun to me. I'm all for having fun, but having fun slowly killing myself is wack.

I wanted to get serious into fitness. I no longer workout to look good while drinking. I workout to live. No more too hungover to workout or alcohol killing my gains. I could go on but these past 4 years have been the best of my life.

The first couple of years out of college is where you separate yourself.

It becomes whether the ambition takes over or the addiction. I think that lots of people don't realize how much of a hindrance alcohol can be on your goals.

Holy crap I never thought I'd sound this square.

:salute: that's commendable my dude, i'm trying to get on that same page.

I relate to most all of that shyt you're talking about. I actually had some times going to the store and having to type in my PIN number with my hands shaking like a crack fiend after a few days of straight drinking :damn: I can't do that anymore. I would be feeling awkward around people who I usually drink with when i wasn't drunk, to the point where I would drink before I met up with them. Getting in trouble is never good, but I feel like it was a good wake up call for me. I'm trying to get my fitness on as well.

It's kind've entertaining to be around drunk people when you aren't drinking though. Christmas my family was puttin back the drinks and i was just sitting there like :upsetfavre:

It's actually less entertaining and more annoying to watch them act stupid. God knows how I looked to a sober mind :whew:
