But the shows are much more like an 80's territory. He's using former ROH talent but he's using them in a different way than the indies were. There's a lot more storytelling in NXT than in PWG.
Sometimes thats true as far as storylines. He does reuse fueds though

But honestly, IMO, the only show that balances it all out on a week to week basis is Lucha Underground.... but then I don't watch anything else weekly....

But on that same point of PPVs and match quality, I feel the same way about NJPW. Sometimes that's all you really need.

Especially when the #1 Promotion barely pulls off good PPV matches with story payoffs after their weekly show.

and don't compare it to NJPW breh. NJPW isn't just the "pay-per views". they just shut the entire summer down.

and im not knockin the weekly NXT show. its a good show actually. I like the old school buildup shows, and youre bound to get 1 or 2 great matches per month on there. its just that a lot of people are quick to crown it as the greatest thing since sliced-bread, knowing darn well that they wouldn't if it wasn't part of the WWE Universe.

dope show, but its not a lock for top 5 wrestling show on TV. I cant crown it just because of a handful of 2-hour specials each year.
