I know this likely a joke, but seriously Boozer's is a better player and would be a better fit with the Lakers.
Naw he isn't. You obviously don't watch Bulls games on the regular.

The best fit would be Kevin Love, Chris Bosh, Andrea Bargnani or Ryan Anderson, but none are realistic. As for Derrick Williams he isn't very good, he had a chance to start and really looked like shyt doing it, 10ppg 5rpg but shot 35% from the field. Maybe in Antoni's system he might work, but dude is a tweener in the worst sense.
Minny isn't giving up their starting C either, he's posting better numbers than Pau.
Some wont except this but a possible reason for him deteriorating is the break up of Silvia Lopez due to Vanessa. I noticed that exver since that, he's been playing like sh*t and theirs been that growing anomosity between him & Kobe.

That's why I didn't mention any of them. If LA wants a replacement, they're gonna have to look 2nd/3rd tier.
Williams has looked good in flashes and I think he'd benefit in a system like D'Antoni's and with a PG like Nash. The Lakers have more talent than Minny, so it could draw attention away from him.
I went back and forth w/Tremont a little last night about possible trades involving the teams. It'd have to be a three-teamer and Pek would go to the 3rd team, Gasol to Minny. Pau would actually fit in well with that roster, since Love isn't a true back-to-the-basket PF. I'm pretty sure Pau's numbers would creep back towards his career averages with the Wolves.
I think the trade I suggested (in some form) would be Pek and Budinger to the Magic, Afflalo and Gasol to the Wolves, Williams to the Lakers. It'd obviously have to be tweaked since Gasol's salary is so high (maybe take back Hedo's contract ), but something like that. It'd be contingent on Minny giving up on Pek though and I doubt that happens. They'd be better for the next couple years with that move though.
EVERYTHING
EVERYTHING
I think Pau would be fine here once he stops moping. The issue is that it's a very short sighted move with not much upside (in other words, Pau coming here doesn't guarantee us a playoff spot, it doesn't make us contenders, it doesn't guarantee Love and Rubio are here for the long haul because, of course, we'd have to find a replacement for Pau in 1 1/2 years, and not only does it not fix our biggest problem- the wing- it rids us of any other possible assets left to address that).
A good spot for Derrick could be ATL as well. They got some shooters we could use and maybe even a protected pick as well.
To be honest, giving up Pek in a deal for Pau shouldn't be considered. Pek is playing well on a cheap contract. The only way I see Pau being moved is if Morey still has a crush on him and is part of the deal.
MAKE IT HAPPEN MITCH.
HE & D-12 ARE GOOD FRIENDS WHO HAVE WANTED TO PLAY TOGETHER FOR YEARS...
From what I've seen Booz is terrible at everything besides rebounding and hitting an open J. But guess what Pau has been terrible at just about everything besides maybe rebounding. Tell me what Pau consistently does better the Booz.
Nah, Pau for Noah is a much better trade. Pau has always wanted to play for Chicago since 07-08. Pau would have been a Bull if it wasn't for Ben Wallace. You guys get a great back to the basket player and legit center in Pau, just amnesty Boozer and just start Gibson. Great trade for both squads.
I would prefer Booze's toughness and rebounding next to D-12 though
He left what ever "toughness" he had in Utah. Do you folk even watch any Bulls' games at all?
