I personally think we should have pau come off the bench if the tendonitis is that serious. I'd like to see if Nash can make gasoft attractive enough to fanangle a 3 way deal and get Milsap. He'd help out so goddamn much, add a real threat to the bench and we should be better off.

gasoft needed to be dealt after the c's series, that shyt destroyed him worse than it did Kobe.

^^This^^

Pau Gasol is best at center, period.

He is not the new age power forward and is being played out of position.

Exactly, hence why I think he should come off the bench. We start the game with a super athletic defensive force in Dwight, then off the bench have an old crafty veteran big who can still go off once in awhile. I guarantee the hate for gasoft goes out the window the moment we put him on the bench and play him as a center only.

On a serious note, I just don't get the fan base. They leave Gasol out i the rain one week demanding a trade and about how much of a hindrance he is, then when the idea comes up for a trade they ask for the moon and talk him up to be a quality player.

Breh, this kinda question is like asking a parent why kids love Apple Jacks. It's GOAT franchise shyt, you wouldn't understand...:jawalrus:

Just Win Baby
What was the reason in 2011 with Phil? He was so trash that Phil had to put his hands on him.

This. 2010 Pau is never coming back, he may show up for a game or two but that's it. We out here playing with 2 and half players on the starring 5. One being Metta, of course Kobe, and a recovering Dwight.

I've never hated a player as much as I do Pau right now. Yes I know he helped us win 2 chips, but he's still getting paid 19 mil. How about some effort

Nah fukk that, final judgement has already been made...the time to trade pau is going on two seasons over due at this point, paying him 19 million dollars to be a subpar 3rd option stretch 4 that actually doesn't stretch the floor and compromises the defense to hell is pretty much THE #1 problem with the team...the roster is unbalanced and the bench is embarrassing because of it... moving him and Odom for CP3 and a trade exception was pretty much the most beautiful move imaginable, it was perfect :to: ...it being rescinded via some Vince McMahon modern day carny business fukkery is one of the great tragedies in nba history...despite being screwed the Lakers made it that much worst by hanging on to pau for rest of the season...they should've taken the deal Houston had on the table directly...imagine this current laker squad with dragic at the point, kmartin off the bench as a big scoring reserve/sixth man and a shooter in dantoni's system, and scola replacing pau at 4...that's a way more balanced roster...2nd biggest mistake was seeing how fukking worthless pau was in a second consecutive post season and not moving him for josh smith in the summer when they had the chance but fukked it up by asking for too much...now, we''re fukked...paus trade value has now bottomed out, he's well on his way to finding himself in dantonis doghouse, and we're gonna be stuck with him until he gains value as an expiring contract next season :snoop: ...Nash ain't gonna do nothing to magically make pau a better fit for this squad...his weak ass non-screens and non attacking and rolling to the basket ass ain't gonna turn into prime amare just because Nash is out there (though he should help in other areas)...he's gonna mainly get the same looks, bricking 16ft open jumpers, or passively swinging the ball, while making that one big to big interior pass per game that gasses pau apologists into thinking he's some kind of offensive genius worth keeping around in lieu of better fits...getting targeted in pick and rolls every other time down the floor in the playoffs like the play that lost the game last night :pacspit:
