Hurricanes weaken when they hit land so if it hits the bottom of florida and comes straight up then it'll be weak by the time it hits NC. Our worst hurricanes were the ones that came up along or across the Atlantic (Hurricane Hugo/Fran).Better check the map. Looks like its supposed to run right up the middle of SC
Won't be that weak (if the projected path is right). Still Cat2-Cat3 I'm guessing.Hurricanes weaken when they hit land so if it hits the bottom of florida and comes straight up then it'll be weak by the time it hits NC. I hope everyone in Florida come out ok and completely unscathed.....except George Zimmerman because I'm petty like that
This is bad because even though it looks like the center of the storm is headed slightly outside of Florida, the most damaging wind and rains are on the very northwest(?) part of the eye which is basically the entire coast.still at 180 MPH
We wouldn't have had anything to worry about if Cook didn't get fired since he's got the backup servers but
And we over here fighting over models. We are not worthy. Can ya'll imagine back in the day when they had no idea what hurricanes were then having one pull up on you suddenly?
