Wind is too bad.
I lived through a couple of Hurricanes, a few tropical storms including Allison, was involved in the Rita evacuation and deal with seabreeze showers that can flood a street within fifteen minutes. The media does more to hype than educate. Then when they get backlash for it they use personal tragedy to prove their point in such a sickening smug manner. Lemon needs his skull crushed for that comment he made.
I haven't seen the Lemon video. I would hope he wouldn't be that smug. Not everyone has the opportunity to get out of town. Some don't have cars, some don't have family/friends to bunk up with, some don't have money for a hotel. So if they stay and die, its not always due to whatever bullshyt reason someone wants to put on them.
And damn you've been through a lot. What was the Rita experience like?

And that Rita evacuation was horrible. More people died in the evacuation than would have from the storm because not only did it weaken it turned and went east and hit the Louisiana/Texas border. I rode out Ike after that which struck with 125 mph winds. It wasn't a pleasant experience but not the worst ever.
Some people just gotta let their opinions take center stage.. no situational awareness whatsoever.
That Rita situation sounds awful, glad you came out safe breh.
What is crazy to me are the people that will ride this out on a house boat. Saw a few people saying they were staying on their boats at the marina

Word. Multiple people dead and he talking about the storm is a bust. This shyt ain’t the Super Bowl. It’s real. And the sad thing is most of them people were probably really poor and felt they had no options. I wish I was billionaire rich because this would definitely be one of the times I’d be out blessing people. shyt is sad.
