It’s dope seeing how Rae and Ghost develop their friendship… like I like to think I’m a huge fan of NY hip hop/culture and never knew they didn’t get along and basically hated Each other to the point they shot up a house of one another .. With their personalities it would make sense they’d bond though as they got to knew each other. Helps that the kid playing GFK and my dog from Dope as the Chef are killing their roles something serious.

The scene where steve rifkind is pitching the guy to push their shyt and he was like these guys can get a party started and then mentioned how the west coast was on fire. That was tha Liks with him.

They are knocking it out of the fukking PARK with season 2.


Every episode since episode 2 has been 10/10 almost fukking FLAWLESS. They are doing an INCREDIBLE job of making it FEEL like the early 90’s and the actors are KILLING it.


I love how they finally made Ghost & Rae best friends lol. That intro to The Killer and Ghost talking about dying his Wallabees :wow:




This show is a fukking blessing.

They gonna have to get the casting for Nas spot on. My dream scene is them redoing the creation of Verbal Intercourse and showing how Nas went through a couple different rhymes that they all thought was crazy but Nas wasn’t satisfied with until he goes in the booth and spits “Through the lights, cameras, and actions, glamour, glitter, and gold”:banderas:

I hear that..

I could have sworn they were talking about a Nas project with one of the young cats from The Get Down yeeeeears ago. :jbhmm: Edit: I think It was Tremaine Brown Jr.

They're going to need to cast Redman as well once Meth starts taking off too :ohhh:

The kid from The Get Down played Nas in the Roxanne Shante movie. He was in two scenes. He did an ok job with limited screen time.
