Also Shameik Moore might be my fav of the actors. Him and TJ out of the young nikkas. We all know Dave East. But outside of him them 2 are the most normal cats outside of the show. Dude who play as Ghost is from BK and seems KINDA normal but that pic y’all posted got me feelin like he a weirdo like the dude who plays as RZA. Shameik basically wish he was an NYC nikka at this point tho. Lol. They was messin wit him about it in an interview.

RZA said in the BC interview that TJ is starting to act like Ason IRL too :russ:

Here's one I doubt they'll ever mention - the real reason Divine & Ghost fell out was because of the guy that became Ghost's manager. He's an alleged mob snitch...and Divine said don't bring him around anymore. This is the dude that put the battery in his back for him to start suing - cases I still can't believe he won.

Yeah theres a clip of Divine and Ghost going at it in the Of Mics and Men documentary and I believe it was over an issue involving contracts. Prolly what Ghost ended up suing for.

They said when Dirty passed, Ghost was the first one there and just zoned off into space over his body. They said he was just gone. He was the first one that media interveiwed too.
on the wu tang doc from showtime...odb's fam pretty much described what happened when ghost got the news...and then you see ghost and u god wiping their eyes trying to keep it together...that whole segment on him was just :sadcam: to watch

Mike Caruso. There's actually a documentary about the NYC club scene and he's actually in it. If I'm not mistaken he was Cappa's manager too.

I just finished reading The Dirty Version, ODB's autobiography co-written by Buddah Monk. He said that ODB was going on binges at the time, broke his leg out of town, swallowed his bag of coke before heading home, someone gives him a Tramadol for his pain and that mixed with the coke is what killed him. So fukking sad.

Maybe, but not the exact way it's presented on the show. They have already said this. Some things have been moved around or altered for storytelling purposes.

Yeah, from the fans who know, they've really only been altering by combining events and people. At the most, make up a person but give him another's story - Haze/Case. It's not like part truth, part TV-invented. It's part-truth with other truths. Like the whole Rae/Ghost shootout. They said "it's TV" and people watching took that as it never happened. When the truth is that the event happened, and Rae was with the crew that did it. He's said in numerous interviews in the past 30 years that whenever he was around Ghost early on, he was always watchin his back. And half of the Clan be saying things never happened, that other Clan members confirmed years prior. They're always downplaying ish...true OGs.

They haven't done SOC - Eazy sellin weed because he's broke after Dre left, and crying over seeing Chronic billboards...or getting beat up by Suge to get Dre out of the contract. Now, that ish was half fiction. But I do love how after each ep, the fans that know will find clips/articles of the true story, and such.

Yup. But Cap got rid of him. Bul was exec producer of Fishscale up to like 36 Seasons....I wonder if he's still around, or does Ghost contractually just owe him. I saw one doc back in like 06/07 in which they were saying his name...some of the footage was reused for Mics & Men...but in later docs they always bleep his name out.

Exactly like @DaveyDave said. And while it wasn't (allegedly) Rae that personally shot up Ghost's crib, is was his & Power's crew. Ghost (allegedly) robbed one of their peoples, so they got him back. According to certain Clan members, they went back and forth with shootouts. Some of them say Rae & Power did it, Rae says he "personally never fired a shot at that mans house", Ghost doesn't speak on it at all outside a couple of references in his music.

There's a great interview with RZA once on Youtube that I can no longer find. In it he mentions Rae & Ghost being in shootouts with one another, Rae gettin shot, Ghost being shot & his mom's house being shot up, Dirty being shot, himself being arrested 15x, Uey being in and out of jail, MK & Deck bidding it, Cap, Divine in and out of jail. He ran it down like that - names, and a brief rap sheet - 6 of the 9 were felons. In the interview he was really saying that it was their lives until he decided to focus on something positive, and once he went positive they became millionaires after a year.

The Village Voice had a great article about Mike "Lord Mike" Caruso back in the day:

I got it somewhere. See if I can find it and make scans.

Edit...Here's the article :

It’s sad how ODB’s light slowly dimmed throughout the years. How you have knowledge of self but you’re so self destructive?
