lunch today, guessing around 700 calories and very full. Its not that hard to eat clean...just takes a little work.

yeah, half a chicken breast and small piece of lean steak I cut up.

Tortilla is about 200 calories, breast and steak probably about 400, cheese, greens and onion probably add another 100 or so I am guessing. No oil or dressing used

I would be surprised is the chicken and steak was 400 a whole breast grilled/baked no skin should be between 150-180ish.

I could be wrong.........

I've been incorporating a green smoothie with my intermittent fasting. When I get home after work I'll have a smoothie with kale and/or spinach, pineapple, banana, some frozen fruit and chia seeds. Then afterwards I'll have some salmon and steamed broccoli, and then a protein shake (Syntha 6 :ahh:) with some greens powder, unsweetened almond milk, and banana after lifting at night.

In my opinion the IF helps with eating clean. By restricting my eating window (usually no more than 4-5 hours), I limit the opportunity to eat garbage. And then even if I do eat garbage, it's mitigated somewhat by only eating it once as opposed to all day.

I can eat clean when Im in my city and have access to grocery store/kitchen. I gave up sugar a while ago so I dont really get cravings anymore.

But traveling kills me :sadcam:
I have yet to master clean, or even balanced eating while out of town.

I can eat healthy but as soon as legit food run out in my house I compensate with slop.

That is the key. Don't allow yourself to get too busy to keep the right food in the house. I leave the house with multiple home cooked meals because i can never find unprocessed food on campus. I always have a few pieces of fruit with me, and I try to find alternatives for everything online. My latest find was vege chips. I bought a regular bag, and starting tomorrow I am going to start making them myself.

im about to go on a cut what kind of oils do you guys recommend? i use a lot fo olive but am thinking of using more canola and sunflower.. or does it matter?

I dont see anything wrong with Olive Oil. I personally wouldn't change it unless you're after a different taste.
