Strengthen the border. Hold mexico to task
About thier role. More resrouces to enforce the immigration through sea as well

No both siding the shyt with cubans who
Come in droves with no repercussions. While other third world countries get the “evil” title.

Work to Actively deport the illegals now who cant prove they work or go to school. And if they paid taxes via an ITIN, they get head of the line type shyt for a work visa or a residency card. Citizenship.

Also if they are illegals, give em an option to be deported or work to pay off the taxes they have accrued.

I think a more sufficient pipeline of having those who shown they want to work be given some
Benefit of the doubt.

While also making it really hard to come over illegally

We are 30 or 40 years too late.

Something should have been done when California and Texas were getting flooded in the 80's and 90's.

It's funny that the two biggest waves were under Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. But now Republicans are "Supposedly" against illegal immigration from South of the Border. :heh:

What is even more shameful is the Democratic party that was heavily against what was going on under Reagan and W. Bush. Are now soft on illegal immigration. :snoop:

The Keystone State
1. Temporarily Close the southern land borders to everyone except those with a us passport.

2. Anyone needing to claim asylum needs to fly into the US and can only land in a few specific cities... if unable to do that!, then they need to apply from their own country.

3. Locate and deport anyone that has overstayed their visa.

4. Make English the official language.

5. English language and US history proficiency before gaining citizenship.

6. Income requirements to gain residency or must be in a trade school or college.

7. Limit amount of money that can be sent out if the country per month.

8. Deport spanish speaking criminals to Spain ... we can call them New Austrailia.

Be serious for TLR sake... It's quite a quandary...

How would you fix it? :lupe:

  • More jobs in Mexico and Latin America.
  • Build the wall.
  • Hire more immigration judges and clerical staff.
  • Any company that does business in the US does business in Latin America gets fined/taxed if they don't provide full health, full dental, and some sort of pension.
  • Minimum pay has to be half of the living wage of that country.

The Deep State
Step 1) Open up Ford , gm , and Boeing factories in El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala. Offer initial set up costs and tax incentives to companies that do so .

Step 2) Then immediately lift the silly sanctions on Venezuela.

Step 3) deport everyone from the above countries , but offer the deportees first dibs on the new jobs in their homelands. Then offer No more immigration trails in the US. Refer them to offices in their home countries if they have a legitimate refugee or asylum claim. (But I suspect they won't anymore)

Step 4) For bonus points , you can place one Intel factory on Haiti on the opposite side of port au prince and then immediately give Kenya 0.01% of the US defence budget to lay siege to the gangs in Port au prince.

These steps would quite literally double the gdp(s) of these nations and stop people from coming here. The idea is to fix the places these people are coming from so that there is no incentive to come to america.

And I doubt this would cost more than 5bil to do, which is nothing when compare to the US national budget. It'll cost far less than any immigration steps within the US .
they dont want or cant qualify for these jobs because the people who would qualify already wouldn't be migrants or subject to migration

Interesting points.

No solution can come unless we first look at what the actual roots of the issue are.

Why are people leaving their countries

What can America do to create opportunities IN those countries

What can America do to capitalize off the situation while improving life for those who would risk their lives to come here

Most solutions people will propose in this thread are simplistic and coming out of emotion instead of trying to understand the problem to create a permanent fix. Give people here a "kill them all button " and that would be what they press for everything. Islamic terrorism? Button. Immigration? Button. Crime in poor neighborhoods? Button. There'd be less than 100k people in the world if some posters here actually had that kind of power.
