Step 1) Open up Ford , gm , and Boeing factories in El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala. Offer initial set up costs and tax incentives to companies that do so .

Step 2) Then immediately lift the silly sanctions on Venezuela.

Step 3) deport everyone from the above countries , but offer the deportees first dibs on the new jobs in their homelands. Then offer No more immigration trails in the US. Refer them to offices in their home countries if they have a legitimate refugee or asylum claim. (But I suspect they won't anymore)

Step 4) For bonus points , you can place one Intel factory on Haiti on the opposite side of port au prince and then immediately give Kenya 0.01% of the US defence budget to lay siege to the gangs in Port au prince.

These steps would quite literally double the gdp(s) of these nations and stop people from coming here. The idea is to fix the places these people are coming from so that there is no incentive to come to america.

And I doubt this would cost more than 5bil to do, which is nothing when compare to the US national budget. It'll cost far less than any immigration steps within the US .

The irony is countries could benefit from immigration when you close off the borders for generations you end up like hellholes such as Japan

Stop all immigration period. Even work visas until every immigrant is accounted for. Those here illegally would be deported if they had a criminal history here or in their homeland.

Anyone caught crossing illegally during this time will be put on work detail for free for a period of 5 years. Men and women. Kids will be put in an orphanage.

After that all immigration will only be allowed with the required paperwork and sponsors.

Make speaking English mandatory to get a work visa. They would have to take an English proficiency test.

Fine employers who pay under the table.

Take out ESL classes in public schools. Parent would have to learn the language and teach their children on their own time. If your kid fails that’s on y’all.

Coli posters are in here being a bit naive and I say that as someone who isn't a fan of it myself.

The true solution to the immigration situation is what the US is the main culprit in causing including posters themselves. As global warming continues to get worse and a lot of those citizens flee their home countries, where do you think they're going to go?

Never going to rid of illegal immigration completely, but can get it way down.

1. Get rid of birthright citizenship. This has to be included in any real solution.
2. Illegals have absolutely no access to any american healthcare, education, etc. Make things very very hard for them. Don't mainstream them in anyway. Keep them in a bad place. You want word to get around that it's really not worth it. That working for a few dollars or being a whore is all that awaits them.
3. Be proactive in deporting them and crushing any business that uses them.
4. Absolutely no amnesty.

Now once you've got that system in place. Understand the usa has always had a need for cheap labor. So you implement a seasonal worker program. The program would offer certain benefits and protections. Folk will come legally, work their seasonal jobs, and leave because they understand they got nothing to gain from staying illegally.

Problem is the usa ain't in the nation building business anymore.

But yeah above 10k gdp per cap and folk start staying in their own countries.
