Newark had curfews in a couple areas in the early 2000s but that didn't last long because no one followed it. A lot of cops got laid off in Newark too, and I hear the police don't really do much in Camden besides pick up bodies

The thing is you have to change the mindset of alot of the people livening in the hood. Education good jobs won't fix anything because most of won't take advantage of them.

Center city is world class these days and areas like fishtown, pt breeze etc are seeing significant improvement

Philly will always be world class because of the history.

From what I see no one in the hood has the mindset to change themselves or the neighborhood they live in. They like the way things are or their comfortable either way you can't change people that don't want to be changed.

Mofos got too many rights in this country sometimes. When it's needed for the greater good I say suspend some of those rights, enforce curfews, and suppress freedoms of speech and press

You may see this as an extreme but thats the quickest way to handle things

I would place cameras everywhere ..24/7 patrol by military..issue a curfew for hotspots only not good areas...institute mandatory minimums....

get drugs off the streets and open up 15 rec centers for kids up to 21.

make all people on any form of public/gov't assistance take drug tests in order to continue to receive benefits
this gets rid of drugs which reduces crime immediately by 50%

I doubt it, its probably not the "right way" to do things and will definitely piss off some of the wealthy and quite possibly the government.

But from what I have researched, not illegal and helps minorities increase ownership. The real problem is that I can't do much if I just own 3-4 properties scattered. I need to buy BLOCKS or even better ZIP CODES.

Unfortunately it will probably require drug testing which I have been on the fence about since proposed.

Stop building prisons based on 2nd graders test scores. Stop bringing drugs over here to be sold in the ghettos. Stop passing bullshyt laws that give a nikka with a crack rock more time than a white man with a trunk full of cocaine. Stop taking 30 minutes to respond to a crime. Stop making reality tv shows centered around black men getting killed and police trying to solve the case within 48 hours. Stop telling us that our culture is wrong, even tho you exploit it and still it to make billions of dollars. Stop telling us that the first thing you have to do when you get a little bit of money is move to a white suburb of yours, even tho theres hundreds of black suburbs in America in 2013.
