only white people get titles fights there 3rd (or whatever) fight professional despite losing one of them. It's ridiculous...

Davey Moore & Leon Spinks rejects this deposit breh. They fought for Championships very early...only 8 fights in.:manny:

The dude Loma tied was an Asian...and there were others who won Championships in only 4 fights who weren't white.:hubie:

I dont even know where you got that idea from:ld:

Hey I know you can school me on this but I believe Loma fought for a title his first fight out, lost his second. And fought for another title his 3rd fight. Are you saying there's been others that had this same road?

Nobody has ever done that before. He's the only 1 period. I attribute that to his accomplishments and the close fight he barely lost to Salido, who was ranked #1 fighter in the division.

so i hear what you're saying but it just feels like the great white hope and they found someone and he immediately got title shots. Leon Spinx was suppose to be a cake walk for Ali on his way to fighting Norton. Don't know much about Davey Moore's career.

Floyd would body Salido in his 1st fight not lose to him :heh:
Im supposed to believe someone who went the full 12 with Marty Robbins is beating Pretty Boy Floyd

Prime Floyd got a very controversial decision W over a guy who was KOd by Julio Alvarez & KOd, twice, by Javier Jauregui....but you think he would've beat Salido (or his counterpart Azumah Nelson) in his very 1st fight.

Very interesting:jbhmm:

wasn't he hurt in that fight (fist or shoulder, can't recall and too lazy to google).

but yeah, I do think people are reaching to think floyd would have hung with a veteran titlist in his first few fights.

And that's not even a slight towards him. Nobody in history has ever done that, so its not a bad thing to think that Floyd wouldn't be able to accomplish that feat either in his 2nd fight...let alone in his very 1st.

Nobody has ever done it period.
