Yes...he wouldve. No way would he have beat Salido.

And...he would've lost. Just like Loma did.

lets put it in context...the equivalent of salido-lomachenko for floyd would be him fighting (in his second pro fight) the likes of an azumah nelson or tracy harris patterson or hell even genaro hernandez (RIP) who he won his first title from a couple years into his career..there would be a very high chance he would lose those fights or struggle greatly because the experience of those fighters at the time was crazy

But why are you even comparing a 19 year old kid to a 26 year old two time gold medalist :hhh:

Professional experience >>> age when discussing early fights.

Lol at using age to determine if someone should win or not. How about you point me to someone who beat the #1 fighter in the division...in only their 2nd professional fight.

Bro, are you even gonna attempt to be rational, or are we really about to sit here and act like it's sane to compare a 19 and a 26 year old? :usure:

Id rather discuss how Loma would fare vs Berchelt, Machada, Ogawa, Tank, or Farmer...being they can actually provide an answer:ld:

Loma/Floyd hypotheticals are just that & there's no way to prove anyone right or wrong. Just an arguement waiting to happen:manny:

Floyd Loma hypotheticals are off the table :sas1:

If Floyd was in his 2nd professional fight? Yeah. He wouldve lost.

But Floyd Salido hypotheticals are all good :sas2:

shidddddd a prime zab would break out the jailhouserock on loma he wouldn't know how to move

Lol hell no. Zab plays right into Loma’s hands because he’s a hothead and doesn’t like to be roughed up. Zab was talented and super fast but mentally he wouldn’t have what it takes to handle the relentlessness of a Loma nor would he have the stamina or patience needed

You can think Floyd could come into the game & beat Azumah Nelson (who was ranked #1 in the division like Orlando Salido was) in his 2nd professional fight...I disagree:manny:
I think its a toss up too. I can see Floyd losing. Salido would throw 1000 punches and nothing short of a KO would stop him. I do see Floyd dropping him once or twice though

Loma is being heralded as a generational talent. The last generational talent that preceded him would have been Floyd. Its a natural discussion because of the skill level involved

Just wanted to get the heads take on this because this looks like it would be a close fight. Both guys are willing to get nasty too so it would have been a true fight
he isnt a generation talent (yet)
seriously, people need to relax lol

Do any of us REALLY believe Floyd at 130 would make Walters and Rigo quit on their stool :dahell:
I feel like it's basically impossible to have an objective hypothetical discussion about Floyd losing, especially here, but let's not act like the fight wouldn't be Floyds toughest at 130 which is saying something when many ppl think he got a gift in the first Castillo jawn
floyd has earned the right to be compared to other all time greats.
lomo is not an alltime great
if he gets there, we can have that discussion

few years ago none of these Loma stans were to be found. Matter of fact the only nikkas in here talking about Loma when he was 0-0 were me and @patscorpio n he was shytting his hands/power at the time and we went back n forth whether he would make the transition

couple fights later and we comparing him to Floyd fukking Mayweather :gucci:

nikkas need to relax forreal im a big of a fan of dude as anybody but :martin:
