“I thought Oscar won the fight on points, threw more punches and was more aggressive,” Mayweather Sr. told reporters, per The Associated Press. “My son had good defense and caught a lot of punches, but Oscar pressed enough to win the fight.”

Judge Tom Kaczmarek agreed with that assessment, scoring it 115-113 for De La Hoya. But Mayweather won with the backing of judges Chuck Giampa (116-112) and Jerry Roth (115-113).

I thought Floyd soundly beat De La Hoya. Oscar fought great the first half but lost the second half.

My point is if washed up Oscar made a fight where it was a SPLIT decision I believe lomachencko could win 2 more rounds than a washed up oscar.

This Loma hype starting to sound like the Vic Darchinyan hype around 2008. Mikey will destroy him.

would b a dream matchup, mikey got the 1 pop KO power and the size

im curious to see how loma's frame can handle the extra weight

he looks like a really small framed dude based on his shoulders n height

honestly, mikey not even be able to hit him with the angles

floyd fought alotta dudes wid way bigger size, but they just couldnt put the paws on em

loma might be the same. the angles and constant movement he gives give boxers fits. u gon need a dirty clincher that gives no space like sali to cause him problems. mikeys more of a boxer, so loma might have a chance

This would hold some weight if that bum Marriaga didn't touch him up with ease. Loma would get thoroughly abused by Mikey.

I didn't even waste a response on that Corrales talk he was VERY comparable to the hype ggg was getting just that of course ggg gonna be bigger because he got the complexion for the protection.

Floyd at 130 was probably the best Floyd. He was a killer.

Lets see what Loma continues to do. He has been good so far but he hasnt looked unbeatable to me, just had some good match up advantages.

Cant believe this trash ass thread is still going. The op should be banned as well as the 4 dumb fukks that voted for homochenko :scust:

That’s cool and all if you view Floyd as some untouchable God. I’ve personally got him winning. But Loma is the one guy I’ve seen with such sublime ring iq and skill since......Floyd himself. Which is why it’s at least a discussion.

So you can stay :umad:or just KIM
