Its a ghost ship sailing the country right into the throes of fascism. All we can do is watch in horror and anguish as nothing gets done. By the time 2024 comes around Republicans will look strong to the uninformed masses and be voted into power. They'll complete the project of turning the country into a right wing autocracy.

And that's when things will get very dramatic and interesting. Minority rule is not going last long in a country with an increasingly young, progressive and non-white population.

Ehh I’m not that optimistic. Say what you will about the right they are organized. They already got their paramilitary death squads(militias), they infiltrated law enforcement and the military. They have the state legislatures, the Supreme Court, and are passing more oppressive voting restrictions to lead to minority rule.The left does not have any semeblance of organization right now. There is close to no militant far left self defense groups to resist fascism. There will be random pockets of resistance from non white military veterans or some antifa militias formed but they will be crushed. One thing that scared me to see this was the fact the Airforce is full of far right wing evangelicals especially the pilots.
I do think when minority rule occurs it will just lead to blue states breaking away from these fascist. Will it be peaceful? I don’t know because rural blue state areas are right wing too. But if you expect this mass far left armed resistance against the fascist you are mistaken. I wish it wasn’t the case.

This is what I wanted you to admit. Matt Stoller is absolutely not pro Trump and probably closer to Elizabeth Warren in his politics. Just do a basic google to determine that.
