I'm interested to see how Biden tries to push his large spending packages with inflation on a tear right now. The Fed's assessment inflation would be transitory was obviously not going to pan out. And the problem with inflation is long enough it sticks and people gain a new "baseline". Fed is already planning to raise interest rates and when it does, the US debt becomes more expensive to service. So it's either spending cuts or an increase in taxes.
