Or thats a sign that you need to do better with your life and stop being on min wage/low wage jobs.

If you're saying that America has so many white-collar jobs that it can employ every work-eligible adult over 21, then yeah, I agree. Otherwise, the system isn't setup for that, so don't bother with that bullshyt take.

Great, but you still shame low wage workers.

Yeah, you are a Clinton Democrat which was a Republican in the 1970s.

You don't get on businesses who are underpaying their staff, you blame the workers for being underpaid.
Do you hear how you sound right now? Over a disagreement on policy I'm being labeled essentially as "other". The tribalism has to stop.

By the way, not every business is so called under paying their workers. Progressives have to stop acting like entitled white women.

The disagreement ain't over policy. Its over a mentality that you have, that conservatives also share.

You want money? Get off your fukking ass and work. You can't live on government assistance forever. It has nothing to do with wages. That is an excuse to cover for those who are sitting on their asses collecting money.

Those are your words. You don't have empathy for low wage earners.

Millennials must suffer from some form of collective narcissism

"The government is going to have to pay me not to work, they don't know what I'm worth, I've got boss skills".

I couldn't discern if the argument being made was that the government needs to indefinitely provide people with 900/wk until businesses pay that much or if they were advocating for the government to force companies out of business by artificially restricting the amount of available labor.

Both seemed strange.

And while I don't often agree with @Worthless Loser, he's correct that people had 18 months to develop new skills and I would hope they used that time wisely.
