Brehs doing his best Rose Twitter troll impersonation? :patrice:
I just continue to be disappointed by him. I know I am being harsh but I legit feel like he sucks. Like he continues to make the wrong choice and even when the choice is right he does it wrong.

There is a vaccine now and there has been for awhile... isn't it time to go back to work?

Biden let unemployment extra benefits end….. because he continues to not do much of anything
They should have ended months ago. Biden caved to the left by extending them.

The liberal argument to the staffing shortage problem of "just raise wages" isn't the correct answer. This is the one thing the GOP has been correct on. People would have been more inclined to work if they weren't getting enough government assistance that really doesn't warrant them to work.

That implies the vaccination distribution worked and we didn’t have a higher rate of infection now than ever before…. Are even better a vaccine existed for kids under 12 so the return to school wasn’t me mixing my kids with parents who aren’t vaccinated and didn’t give a fukk.

States that cut off unemployment early didn't have any major spike in employment rates. If people aren't inclined to going back it's because the pay still sucks and/or the businesses still don't have proper Covid protocols. And we're even seeing willing and eligible candidates getting filtered out of the hiring processes due to keyword searching software.

Yes, let’s ignore general inflation and small business owners who profit margin has been and continues to rely on exploiting cheap labor.

I'm pretty positive the only people who are still unvaccinated have done so by choice.

It's on Congress that the UI expired, just like with the eviction moratorium. And it'll only get renewed via reconciliation, which the Dems are already infighting about over the infrastructure bill.

Yes, because that has nothing to do with people sitting on their fukking asses and refusing to work because they are living on government money.

nikka there is a pandemic out here. These numbers are high as fukk and we’re not in Winter yet.

And he has had no handle of his own damn party when he was talking that bullshyt about reaching across the aisle to get deals done. Moderate Dems continue to seek appeasement except with progressives when it should be the other way around.

Accept the schools aren’t closed yet and I always say this “everything is a number until it happens to you”. Those unvaccinated kids whose parent are carrying it are going to give it to the kids whose parents would get them vaccinated. Also schools closing means parents are stuck leaving their kids alone to go to work or not work.

This shyt isn’t going to end well like everything else Biden has tried to do because that motherfukker is out of touch with what is really happening.

They should stick to remote until a vaccine is out for kids. Delta is killing kids more than the last strain, but everybody is making a push for kids to go to school.

It’s madness and the only justifiable reason is some a$$hole made up their mind kids being home was keeping parents home, which meant they couldn’t go to work.

plus this is the thing…. The vaccine for those kids isn’t even that far away. It could be out by November, but instead of extending unemployment and telling parents to stay with their kids until it’s safe or even pitching that idea of extending until it’s safe.

Biden is doing his typical “I am just going to sit here, let this happen, and when it goes bad point at someone else”.

:yeshrug:

“I was powerless to stop the kids from going to school and delta spreading, even though I never even tried to stop it.”

Then when the vaccine is out, instead of making that a requirement for kids to go back to school and putting pressure for people to vaccinate their kids. The country will have to deal with parents reluctant to send kids back to the situation with the outbreaks.
