Dems aren't going to break the fillbuster to protect Democracy because Dems have been and always will be pussies. This voting rights push was all a show. It was always a show from day 1 by Dems. They knew it would never pass and they knew they wouldn't break the fillbuster to do it. And Democratic voters fell for it hook line and sinker. Meanwhile state by state the GOP candidates are going bulldoze over Dems in state elections with these new state laws and Dems will watch it happen and cry like the hoes they are.

I don't gaf if they get washed in the general, I'm donating to her primary challenger as soon as she's up for reelection.

In a sane and rational world, she'd be called exactly what she is - treasonous. She is not only treasonous to her party, but to American democracy itself. It really shows how screwed up and unbalanced this system is, where a few individuals can decide whether this country continues its experiement in democracy or slide into fascism. Most people are outside enjoying the summer and catching live music.

Biggest rumblings I hear people complaining about around town are the price of chicken, gas, and bars that still close early.

One of the benefits Biden has in not being Trump is that people aren't focused on his every mode and the exhausting day to day political debates.
