Your response to being upset at voter suppression is to suppress your own vote. :skip:

Dems literally can't do anything if Manchin from West Virginia is on board. Otherwise they only have 49 votes. I'm still unclear what people actually want the Dems to do about that.
Grease his palms, give him something for his state that would help or improve things, quid pro quo. Typical politician shyt, fukking anything!! Biden is the one who worked in the senate for decades. We have to end the filibuster

Republicans lost the House in a landslide after Trump's first two years.

:yeshrug: the President's party almost always takes an L in midterms, that's basically business as usual

Doesn't change my point that worrying about made up Republican scandals like Benghazi and Obama's tan suit is a waste of time. Any Democrat in office is going to be subject to that no matter what they do.

"Yes we can!"

"It's her turn!"

"I can get things done!"

Manchin and Sinema aren’t the only ones with reluctance to pull the trigger on the filibuster. They are just the most stubborn.

Unfortunately the Dems don’t have any leverage. You can’t primary them( Sinema is safe for 3 years). Manchin is basically the only one who can viably hold that seat right now.

The infrastructure bill through reconciliation is Biden’s only hope before 2022 and then pray they pick up the seats they need to defang Manchin and Sinema and hold the House.

I’m fine with letting Manchin put on a show for bipartisanship but it’s getting to a point where this is becoming stimulus/Obamacare 2.0. You can’t allow sensible republicans to make promises they can’t deliver. There aren’t ten Romney types to negotiate with. At some point you gotta say fukk it and get something done.

Who would you vote for, if you do vote?

So what are you gonna do breh? Not vote? Vote third party?

Just asking :hubie:

I'll continue to vote locally.

I'm not voting for these clowns on the national level if they spend the next year sitting on their hands while these racist laws are passed around the country. The Texas one they're trying to pass in the dead of the night is the most egregious one. You have to register as an election official if you drive more than two people not related to you to the poll - this is a direct attack on black voters. They are cutting polls in black/brown neighborhoods, cutting voting hours so working-class people can't vote, eliminating drive-thru/dropbox voting (Harris County), and give Republican judges sweeping power to reverse election results.

I'm sick of this shyt. I sent these mfers to D.C. to fight for democracy. Biden and the rest of the old guard are failing miserably at that basic task. Their voters are under attack and their response is what exactly? Why should I vote for these imbeciles moving forward if they're unwilling to fight for our basic civil rights when they own the WH, House and Senate. Nah, they deserve to be CRUSHED next year for their inaction.

If Biden doesn't explicitly call for an end to the filibuster and start publicly and privately leaning on his friends in the Senate to do the same, I hope like hell the Dems lose the House and Senate next year and Biden spends his final two years mired in impeachment proceedings. fukk it. :yeshrug:

Y'all wrapped up in Manchin, I want evidence Biden is on the opposite side of him on this issue.

Hell, Biden bff is against getting rid of it too.
