People always think the Pentagon budget is solely used for weapons but that’s not the case. That’s why I take people’s heads exploding over a budget increase with a grain of salt until we see where the money was spent, or at least the money we can see. The US military is still the biggest jobs program we have. Not saying all money spent is justified(clearly not) but going backwards isn’t going to happen...

I feel like he has a legit chance to both be a candidate and even win. I'm not so sure he can as a republican though. He'd need to be either independent or democrat. If he runs an Obama style hope and change campaign he could do it. He'd need to do it Trump style and just jump right into a run for president so he doesn't have a political record and people can pin their hopes on him.
