WV gop gov going to give him that smoke because he specifically ask Manchin to pass that 15 ans hour wage hike

That’s the part of this I don’t understand at all.

Governor Jim Justice aligns with Trump and flips parties. Becomes overwhelmingly popular while still touting Dem policies.

Manchin loses popularity while aligning with Republicans and their lack of policies but remaining a Dem.

Madam VP and Justice get extreme amounts of support for wanting Dem measures to pass. They apply pressure on him heavily and he rebukes it and slides further right on the issue while the electorate moves left.

It’s almost like he’s trying to leave the party but he’d lose the GOP primary. Honestly, he should be trying to go out his shield trying to appeal to Republican voters who want Dem policies mixed with GOP culture wars. But somehow his weapon of choice is to not make government work?

I’m convinced he doesn’t even know what he wants, he’s just trying to play a game that he has no clue of the rules.

Look, it's no secret I'm not the biggest fan of Joe Biden and his politics, but even I thought he'd be able to whip Joe Manchin to support an already inadequate bill. This is actually pretty shocking. His entire political persona is based on his being The Senate Whisperer™, and he's getting absolutely ragdolled by Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema like he's some mid-40s one-term Senator turned President with no experience or relationships. How the fukk he gonna unite the country when he can't even control the Democratic caucus? This is wild.
It’s shocking if you’re convinced that Biden really wanted a more robust bill. Throughout his career Biden has been a moderate Dem who leans right on a lot of issues.

In all honesty I don't see any other bills being law after this covid relief bill. This last minute drama with Manchin and Sinema gives me no hope that they will vote to nuke the filibuster. Dems will use the next reconciliation to pass another covid relief later this year. Which means infrastructure and voting rights reform will be DOA. Now people will say how can you be so sure Dems will lose in 2022? The economy will be booming and covid will be all but gone. Thats true however if HR1 doesn't pass Dems are going to lose the House off rip. Florida GQP are already going all out gerrymandering the shyt out of the state that threatens the slim Democratic control of the House. Add voter suppression and voter apathy it would get ugly. They will expand control of the senate but it doest matter because the GQP will have the House and simply obstruct everything until the 2024 elections. So this year is their best shot to pass HR1. If it doesn't happen Dems will lose the house for a decade.
Next reconciliation bill will be infrastructure...

Manchin a month ago was talking $3-$4 trillion

Jeffries never said he supported a $15 minimum wage increase
Republican WVa Gov. Justice: 'Go big or go home' on stimulus
On raising the federal wage floor from $7.25 to $15, Justice said “it’s really, really hard to say one size fits all” across the nation, where the cost of living varies widely. “But to be able to make it on 7 or 8 dollars an hour, that’s really, really tough,” he added. “I am also smart enough to know some businesses that would rip apart and it would raise unemployment in some areas.”

This is what I said earlier about your imagination not being fact, so stop mixing the two.

So kamala going on air in WV to support the Bill and away gov supporting it is my imagination not being in tact? Like I said stop quoting me nikka and go that way ———>>>>
Manchin supports the bill too, and will vote for it. He just doesn’t agree with $15 minimum wage. Biden put it in the Bill but I don’t think he supports it either and low key sabotaged it from the jump.

But there is no record that Jeffries supports a $15 minimum wage and you can’t find any quote that says it. Again, you mix your imagination with reality way too much.
