That's exactly what is so nefarious about it: there is an alarming trend of zoomers pushing right-wing talking points under the guise of 'left-wing' language. This has been discussed for the last few years, to the point where people are wondering if it's a psyop.

Look at the common discourse among zoomers and it plays right into conservative talking points:

• "Kink should be banned at Pride because children are there and we didn't consent to seeing your leather harness" -- Exact same logic Republicans are using to ban drag shows
• "Age gaps in relationships are predatory and the age of consent needs to be raised to anywhere from 20 to 25 because the prefrontal cortex isn't developed until your mid-20s" -- The 'prefrontal cortex' argument is literally what right-wingers are using right now to push raising the voting age, banning gender-affirming care for trans youth, and restricting abortion access
• "Sex scenes should be banned because I'm a third party viewing people having sex and I did not consent to that" -- This is just classic right-wing pearl clutching

Is it all Zoomers saying this? Is it even most Zoomers saying this? Probably not, but this is definitely a trend to look at going forward. I'm not buying that the "internet isn't real life" when Zoomers are the most online, connected generation in human history. Somebody is viewing this and internalizing this. And we know that it is not only very easy to indoctrinate people to right-wing viewpoints, it's easy to do so without them realizing it's happening.

And I wouldn't be surprised if this is a right-wing psyop because right-wingers know Gen Z is going to be a problem for them based on the last two elections.

These are all fair observations, but I think we should give them the benefit of the doubt and wait and see how things turn out before thinking they're going to turn into Nazis. The gun violence issue alone may be enough to keep them from falling into GOP clutches, but you're right I see that stuff too and while there may be cause for concern I think ultimately we won't see them fall into the clutches of the right wing because they're going to be one of the poorest generations in US history before it's all said in done.

The economic situation is what's driven Millennials further left, I have confidence we'll see the same with Gen Z as well.
