This tweet sums it up

Pretty true, that was probably the most horrific of all the mass shootings and it didn’t even change the conversation. I don’t know if it’s just me but it’s starting to feel a bit different, like there is some momentum behind the idea. I’m a natural pessimist though so I always just assume things will continue as is. Kentucky legislature is dominated by some really really dumb old white conservatives so nothing will be done there, in fact I expect them to start drafting permit less carry legislation like Florida did. So their only hope is federal legislation.

I’m so numb to mass shootings at this point I’m more interested in the story and the motivations like it’s a true crime episode. Like I’ve cut my emotions out of it because if you don’t you’re going to be hurting every damn day in the U.S.

As a pro-gun control proponent I’ve had endless conversations trying to change people’s opinions and it is seemingly impossible once they’re too far gone to one direction. They will not care unless an immediate loved one got gunned down in a mass shooting event. I am not joking you, the standard 2A retard NPC’s have told me that the solution to the mass shooting problem is MORE GUNS. I always ask them what their solution to the issue is and it’s always: more armed police or guards, arming teachers, and have every citizen carry.

I know I’m on the right side of the issue, so I’ve checked out, I don’t care anymore, it’s up to the voters to vote politicians who won’t do anything out, and if they don’t then we get what we deserve. I’ll continue to vote, donate to progressives etc I just hope that none of my loved ones are ever in these types of events.

The kids who were in that classroom and didn’t die can now vote.

I think gun control is the one thing that will change in the next 10-15 years because that’s been ever present in the lives of Zoomers.

Nope, I am placing faith in young people who have dealt with school shootings their entire lives and seeing lawmakers go:

And know they have to do it themselves.

Dobbs decision and gun control will bush the gop for good… You saw it in the 2022 midterms when the gop was suppose to have a red wave and decimate the Dems.. Didn’t happen… 2024 will be a massacre for the gop.. They are done

umm the gop was in the white house three years ago:ohhh:they run the supreme court:ohhh:they are the majority in the house of reps

why is this relevant?
Ok let me make this easy for you.. They have lost 3 elections in a fukkin row with 2024 being the 4th… the scotus is the war of attrition eventually it will go back to liberal leaning either in this cycle or the next..

They are the majority in the house by 5-7 seats let’s not get it twisted like that shyt is a win considering all the pundits and experts had them winning the house by 40 seats..

Don’t be a contrarian breh
